Summer Hours and Holidays
As in prior years, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, Convention Data Services changes its hours of operation to summer hours. Monday through Thursday, the office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST. On Fridays the hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Departments have a reduced staff Fridays after 1:00 p.m.
CDS will be closed on Monday, May 26th for Memorial Day, and Friday, July 4th for Independence Day.
Second Annual Douglas J. Fletcher Memorial Golf Tournament
The Second Annual Douglas J. Fletcher Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on September 15th, 2008 at the Brookside Golf Club in Bourne, Massachusetts. Proceeds from the event will benefit the National Marine Life Center. An email announcement will be sent out this summer when registration opens. 19th hole festivities will be held at the Mashnee Island Grill.

We have heard the request from exhibitors and our clients that proving exhibitor ROI is a top priority for 2008. To meet this demand, Convention Data Services has been working on multiple fronts to help make the exhibiting experience a success.
Promoting Lead Retrieval to Exhibitors
CDS has revamped its marketing materials in an effort to attract exhibitors and enforce our image of a service-driven company. Pre-show and onsite materials have a modern look and language that clearly describes the benefits and options available when purchasing lead retrieval.
Onsite Presence
Early this summer, CDS will be rolling out its new onsite image that includes new promotional and instructional materials, signs and other changes that will support exhibitors who purchased lead retrieval pre-show and market onsite to exhibitors who did not pre-order.
Exhibitor Success Kit
CDS is developing an Exhibitor Success Kit that will be available to exhibitors who purchase lead retrieval. The Kit can be downloaded from the X•Press Leads web site as well as from the ordering site and includes best practices, suggestions for capturing and qualifying leads and strategies for turning prospects into customers.

In addition to offering four different lead retrieval devices, Convention Data Services has a variety of products and services that help exhibitors contact and build relationships with prospects before, during and after the event.
X•Press eBlast
Exhibitors can send a fully formatted HTML email to prospects, attendees or booth visitors that contains the exhibitor’s unique message and brand.
X•Press VIP Evite
Allow exhibitors to invite their special customers and prospects to your event. Exhibitors send customized electronic invitations to VIPs and then track responses through an online interface. The Evite is a great tool for exhibitors to help show management build attendance.
X•Press Exhibit Tracker
The Exhibit Tracker puts attendees in touch with exhibitors post-event with a personalized list of exhibitors who scanned their badge. Exhibitors are highlighted with a description, company web site link and sales contact information.
X•Press Attendee List
The attendee list includes complete contact information as well as demographic questions and answers to accurately qualify each attendee. The list is available in digital form for stand-alone use or can be imported into an exhibitor’s CRM.

Product Showcase: X•Press LeadMobile+ |

For exhibitors who like the portability of our LeadMobile and the convenience of a paper printout, Convention Data Services announces the X•Press LeadMobile+.
The X•Press LeadMobile+ has the all-in-one functionality of the handheld LeadMobile with the addition of a printer built into the carriage. Leads can be scanned, modified and then printed directly to the calculator-style paper roll. The device also stores the leads and uploads them to a USB stick and the X•Press Leads Central web site for lead management.
The X•Press LeadMobile+ will be available for events in the Fall of 2008.
