Product Showcase I: Invite-Multiple-Colleagues |
Convention Data Services has upgraded the X•Press Invite-a-Colleague application to help registrants and increase your event attendance. The application now allows registrants to send email invitations to multiple colleagues simultaneously, increasing the exposure of your event. Event managers can pull reports from the X•Press Reports system to see who was invited and which invitations were converted to registrations. Invite-a-Colleague is a great marketing tool to increase event awareness and registration numbers.

Product Showcase II: Housing Integration |
Convention Data Services’ housing integration is our initiative to provide registrants and show management with seamless integration between registration and housing. Registrant information is passed from the last step of the registration process to the housing vendor who pre-populates the appropriate parts of their forms. Upon completion of the process a single, unified confirmation email is sent to the registrant that includes all of their registration and housing information. We are expanding the X•Press Reports system to become a single, centralized portal for all event reporting. As a first step, we have added direct links to housing vendors’ reporting sites to make it easier to access reports.

FAQs: How Secure Are My Registration Pages? |
There is always an abundance of press regarding viruses, identity theft and attacks on users’ PCs from unsecure web sites. Many of these sites and users are not even aware of their role in spreading malware. Convention Data Services has added encryption to all of our online pages—registration, resource centers, etc.—in order to provide the highest level of security for you, your event participants and your data. The URLs of our web pages now begin with “https” which denotes an encrypted site with an up-to-date security certificate. Across the board encryption is just one of the many steps we take to insure the integrity and security of your event data.

Delivering ROI to exhibitors is of paramount importance especially in these times of economic uncertainty. Convention Data Services has expanded its exhibitor web site to offer ROI builders and guidance on successful exhibiting. On the site, exhibitors can promote their efforts pre- and post-event with email blasts, mailing labels and attendee lists (if available). Our Exhibitor Success Kit is linked as a FREE download and is filled with advice, formulas and instructions for getting the biggest return from exhibiting.
