On March 8th, several event clients visited the CDS Bourne office to participate in a panel discussion and Q&A session with our staff. This meeting was a unique opportunity for the entire company to hear firsthand our clients’ perspective on a wide variety of topics, especially regarding CDS’ products and services. CDS employees submitted questions before the event that were used to guide the discussion. The session was very interactive with additional and follow-up questions throughout the presentation.
The candid discussion gave our teams insight into the process that our clients go through to evaluate an event’s success as well as how our technology is deployed before and during an event. It was particularly interesting for the many different departments to hear how their individual efforts come together into a single, seamless event package for our clients. Understanding what drives the registration decision making process is valuable information for all employees to know.
Our entire staff was pleased to hear the many compliments shared by the panel on our business, products and customer service. It was also interesting to hear the clients describe what they consider to be the most crucial aspects of CDS’ products and services. High-quality customer support by all departments throughout the event cycle was mentioned many times throughout the meeting.
Participants enjoyed the chance to network with their peers and share best practices. They actively discussed the major challenges facing show managers today. Spending time together in this format was a unique learning opportunity for our clients and staff.
