SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics, extended its partnership with Convention Data Services (CDS) for three years through 2023. CDS will provide registration, integrations, onsite services and lead management for the following SPIE conferences: Photonics West, Defense + Commercial Sensing, Optics + Photonics, Advanced Lithography, and Optifab.

“CDS supports us in highly critical areas, smoothing our registration process and acting as an extension of SPIE staff on site,” said SPIE Senior Director of Technical Programs & Proceedings and Events Marilyn Gorsuch. “Their incredible dedication to customer service and to continually improving the on-site experience of our constituents supports the SPIE mission, and we are delighted to extend our professional relationship with them for the upcoming years.”

“Our relationship with SPIE spans over twenty years, and we feel honored to continue that partnership,” said David Lawton, Chief Sales Officer at CDS. “We are excited to begin using ShowPro,® our new self-serve registration product, for some of SPIE’s conference events and will continue providing state-of-the-art integration with their membership system. As an extension of the SPIE team, we will continue to position SPIE as a leader in the industry.”
