CDS, GDPR, and Your Event
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the European Union’s broad legislation designed to ensure the privacy of citizens and protect them from data breaches. This legislation affects the use and storage of attendee, exhibitor, and event audience data for participants who are EU citizens. GDPR is designed to empower EU individuals to have more control over the use of their personal information.
Enforcement of the law started on May 25, 2018.
